Hi, we have a Carrier split system at home (indoor model 42QHC050, outdoor model 38QHC050). It started to make some noise after heating for a few hours, we opended the indoor unit cover and found it is frozen inside. We removed the filters and defrost them and put them back. I have a 7.1 Kw Westinghouse split system needing to be installed. Back to back installation, single storey, about 6-7 metres from the power/mains box. Mains/metre box is old with ceramic fuses.
