I need a quote from someone who is able to remove the carpeting , deep clean the floor and install hardwood flooring in the living area of my small 1 bedroom in Maroubra I’ve moved into recently. It’s a small area of about 16- 17 sqm.

We've recently removed some carpet near our staircase and uncovered hardwood floorboards (approx. 1000mm x 1040mm). Unlike the rest of the hallway, this section hasn't been sanded or polished. We're looking for someone to sand back the wood, stain and finish (lacquer/deal/protect) this small area so it blends in with the surrounding floorboards as closely as possible. We're aware the colour may not be a perfect match, and that's completely fine. Please note that you'll need to supply your own tools and materials, as we don't have any available. I'm looking for someone to extend the engineered hardwood flooring in our living room over the balcony that's been enclosed. The balcony floor slopes for water run off so will need the floor made level with the existing floor in the living room. I ripped up old carpet and found beautiful hardwood floorboards underneath. I’m wary of damaging the floor when removing the old carpet edge tack strips (approx 22m in total around the edge of the room) plus one transition strip (2m) so seeking some help to gently remove them without marking the floor. I’m aware there will be small holes once the strips are removed - will consider options once I’ve had a look after their removal.
