Looking for someone experienced with door locks to replace the existing lock and improve the door closing/locking system. Location: Arana Hills Details: • The door already has pre-drilled holes on the door itself. • However, holes will need to be drilled in the opposite side (door frame / jamb) where the door closes to properly install and align the locking points. • I would like to replace the main central latch with a stronger one and improve the locking system at the top and bottom of the door so it closes much more securely. What I need: • Replace the main central latch/lock with a stronger one. • Install or replace lock cylinder with keys. • Drill and install strike holes/plates in the door frame where needed. • Adjust the door so it locks properly and securely. Scope of Work: • Hammer drill and fix approx. 10 concrete anchor points • Supply and install 5 x 3m lengths of 50x50mm equal angle aluminium (total length: 15 metres) • Install flush and secure to form a barrier along the slab edge, use sealant at concrete joint • The barrier is intended to divert or prevent water ingress into a low-lying area You will need to: • Have your own tools (including hammer drill and anchors) • Supply the 50x50 x3mm thick EA aluminium or advise of better material options (eg concrete up stand) • Be experienced in working with concrete fixings and external aluminium installation Job located in Arana hills Flexible with timing, but sooner is preferred.
