Need to permanently fill/cover this gap so that the clearance is no more than 100mm. 2.Adjust pool gate to self-close properly Gate does not self-close from close distance. Needs adjustment so the gate self-closes and latches from any position, as required by WA pool safety regulations. 3. Raise the gate latch height Current latch lever is 40–50mm too low. Need to raise the latch so that it is at least 1500mm high from the ground

I have a pool Inspection due and found a few things that need fixing with my pool fence. In two places the bar at the bottom of the fence between two posts has rusted away. 12 posts appear not to have been attached to bars in the first place. They are under a tree. A friend recently stayed with dogs, they madly dug up the area where the 12 posts are and exposed them, so it may just be a case of filling the hole with a few bags of sand and compacting it. At one end of the pool fence is a gap approximately one meter with a building (non-brick) on the other side of the gap. There was previously a piece of fence there (I’ve sent a photo), it would be great if it could be reused. The gate posts are out of alignment with each other and need adjustment for smooth closing.
