Find an experienced gas fitter in Chermside West

Our gas cooktop was installed in April 2025 and runs on LPG (small gas bottle). The LPG bottle is located just outside the kitchen window, very close to the cooktop. The installation was completed by a licensed plumber. Everything worked perfectly until just before Christmas. Since then, when two burners are turned on at the same time, the flame on both becomes very small. As soon as one burner is turned off, the flame on the other burner becomes strong again. The cooktop manufacturer has already sent a technician to inspect it. They even connected their own test cooktop on site, and the same issue occurred. Based on this, the manufacturer believes the problem is not the cooktop itself, but possibly related to the gas piping, regulator, or valves. We are looking for an experienced and licensed gas plumber/tradie to diagnose the issue and provide a proper fix.

Gas stove needs to be disconnected prior to floor tiles being removed. Once job is complete gas needs to be connected to stove.

Our gas stove runs off standard LPG gas bottles. I believe the regulator is leaking, as it bubbles when sprayed with soapy water. The last gas bottle we had lasted around a year, but recently replaced it with a new bottle and it was empty after only a month or so.
