Looking for 2 fit, reliable and hard-working people to help with a substantial garden clean-up at a private residence. This is mainly hands-on garden labour rather than specialist landscaping. I’ll be there at the start to walk through everything and show exactly what needs removing, keeping and relocating. Work includes: * Weeding and clearing established garden beds * Removing old roots and unwanted plants * Removing ornamental grasses and unwanted succulents * Digging up, splitting and relocating agave plants * Relocating elephant ear plants and other existing plants * Light trimming/tidying of palms and cordylines * Cutting back ivy/climbing plants * Cleaning out raised planter boxes * Moving smaller succulents/plants into designated areas * Aerating/loosening soil in garden beds * Spreading organic mulch once beds are cleared * Fertilising gardens * General garden waste collection and final tidy-up There are some large established agaves and plants, so you need to be physically fit and comfortable with digging and moving plants. Ideally looking for two people who can work together efficiently without needing constant supervision. Hours: Up to 2 days, approximately 6–7 hours per day. If we get through the work sooner, great. Rate: Approximately $40 per hour, per person depending on experience. I can supply most of what is required, but please let me know what gardening tools/equipment you can bring. Please cut back existing hedge at the front of the property. The top of the larger green one (next to the yellow one) can be easily reached from the court yard. The tall narrower hedge only needs the front cut back. The Red Robbins in the back yard need the front only cut right back. Removal of small existing hedge approx 60cm high and 15m long (free to anyone). All weeds and grass to be removed from gardens. Require pine bark mulch to be spread onto gardens.
