We need help moving from a two bedroom apartment to a single storey house. We will need movers experienced in moving couch through stairs! (Our 2.3m long couch, when it was first delivered, the delivery man could not move it up as it was stuck in the stair well. Later on 2 other more experience delivery men were able to move it up very quickly within 15 minutes! It’s important that you are confident moving the couch down) Apartment is on level 3 so all items need to be moved down the stairs ( no lift). Two people needed TONIGHT – remove large rug & heavy desk + put new rug down Looking for two strong, experienced people to complete a furniture moving/heavy lifting job at Australia 108 in Southbank tonight. The main job is replacing a large 3.5m x 2.5m rug underneath our lounge room furniture. This involves: * Moving a large sectional couch off the existing rug * Carefully moving a large TV cabinet with an 85” TV on it enough to remove the rug * Removing and rolling up the existing large, heavy rug * Taking the old rug down the goods lift to the building’s hard waste room * Laying a new rug in its place * Moving the couch and TV cabinet back into position * Taking a very large/heavy dismantled desktop and heavy metal desk legs down to the hard waste room as well We have a trolley available for transporting the items through the building. Must be completed tonight before 10pm, as the goods lift access/hard waste room closes then. Two people are required for this job due to the size and weight of the items. We just need a van to transport the items across the road. There will be two of us helping with the move, so we’re mainly looking for someone with a suitable van and an extra set of hands to help load, transport and unload everything. Dismantled light Bed frame & Mattress Move – Southbank to Richmond Looking for someone to move a lightweight double bed/frame and double mattress from 42 Balston Street, Southbank to Peluso Place, Richmond tomorrow, Saturday 8 August, between 2–4pm. There is lift access at the Southbank pickup. At Richmond, the bedroom is on the first floor with no lift (one simple flight of stairs). I also have a broken fridge at the Southbank apartment that needs to be taken downstairs via the lift to the building’s hard-rubbish area. The fridge stays at Southbank and does not need transporting. A van/ute and trolley maybe/will be required. Estimated job time: approximately 45–60 minutes.
