Refrigerant removal and disposal

With the fridge removal done, your broken unit will now be brought to an old fridge disposal area. While it may be tempting to stow away the refrigerator at a dump, these appliances can be a bit more tricky. After all, these contain chemicals that can be dangerous if not disposed of correctly. As such, it must be taken to a proper disposal facility not only to comply with local legislation but to help ease the impact on the environment as well.

Fridge freezer disposal and recycling

I need a small fridge, a camper fridge, a 55inch TV and a washer/dryer loaded into my ute from my apartment in Scarborough. There are about 10 stairs leading to the front door of the apartment. The two fridges and the TV are all pretty light but the washer/dryer is heavy (76kg) so it will need two people and a strong trolley. I don't think the job would take long (less than an hour). Unfortunately, I won't be able to help because I'm recovering from having surgery on my hips last year so this job will need two people.

Pare and his buddy were great! They were friendly, easy to communicate with, fast, efficient, secured everything in my ute safely, took care not damage anything and even noticed my trolley's tyres were flat and pumped them up for me. (Pare had a trolley and all other necessary moving gear and used his own. They just saw mine in the garage and fixed it up for me to be helpful.) Highly recommend!
