Refrigerant removal and disposal

With the fridge removal done, your broken unit will now be brought to an old fridge disposal area. While it may be tempting to stow away the refrigerator at a dump, these appliances can be a bit more tricky. After all, these contain chemicals that can be dangerous if not disposed of correctly. As such, it must be taken to a proper disposal facility not only to comply with local legislation but to help ease the impact on the environment as well.

The fridge will need a trolley to wheel through the backyard and garage, with only one small step to navigate. Fee should include moving plus the disposal of the fridge which is $40. We also have some cardboard packaging and styrofoam from the new fridge that will need to be removed.
