Ordered floating floor planks from Harvey Norman, should arrive in a week, they said it only needs builders black plastic down before laying. Floor is completely prepped with carpet removed & smooth edging. Hoping to have done within the next couple of weeks, trying to get done before my husband who has a terminal brain cancer comes home from hospital ( hopefully before xmas)l as he needs a sterile environment - 2 bedrooms and very small hallway & bottom level of kitchen pantry. Total area roughly 30m2.

I would like to put some sort of vinyl/laminate over the floors and at least 7.5cm up the sides of the walls. The joints must be heat welded. All furniture will be removed. Hi, I’m looking for someone who can repair my carpet. It has a small burn mark caused by a piece of coal, and I’d like to have it fixed.

I have some old carpet that needs removing from a small furnished bedroom (3x3). There will be some underlay and nails (we think) that also need to be removed/ pulled up. ***There’s a catch - there is some furniture in the room that is difficult to remove so you’ll need to work around that (a double bed and a desk). Might be a two-person job. If possible, could you apply a metal floor strip on the floor under the door (between the hallway and the room) too. No need to take the old carpet or underlay away unless you want it. We can discard it.
