Project Overview I need a sturdy, pest-proof enclosure built over an existing 8 m × 4 m garden bed so that insects, birds and small animals can’t reach my growing produce. I’ll supply the 2.4 m RHS steel posts and instant-mix cement; I will pay for materials. Scope of Work 1. Frame Installation Posts: Set ten (or as required) 2.4 m RHS steel posts into concrete footings around the 8 × 4 m perimeter. Spacing & Layout: Posts should be spaced roughly 1.5–2 m apart to support side rails and netting securely. Concrete Footings: Use instant-mix cement to anchor each post plumb and level. 2. Side Rails & Support Rails: Install horizontal timber or metal rails between posts at two heights (e.g. 0.5 m and 2 m) to attach netting. Bracing: Add diagonal braces or top cross-members to stiffen the frame and prevent sagging. 3. Pest-Proof Covering Netting: Secure fine-mesh insect netting (2 mm mesh or smaller) tightly around all sides and over the top to keep out birds, insects and small mammals. Access: Build one wide lockable hinged or removable door/section for easy entry, harvesting and maintenance. Wheelbarrow should fit comfortably. 4. Finish & Weatherproofing Fixings: Use corrosion-resistant screws, bolts and clips suitable for outdoor use. Sealing: Ensure any timber is treated or painted for exterior exposure (I can supply paint), and netting edges are neatly trimmed and secured.

Repositioning of existing colorbond fence and the addition of a side fence and gate and cane toad defence.

Around 20 meters of low lying fence for garden area with posts going into concrete, and dug into dirt. 1 or 2 gates / entrance points. Style same as fence in picture with 2 top railings and link fence below - however just not as high as the picture fence, smaller version. The timber garden gate urgently needs repair. The supporting post at the base has become loose, and the central post shows a large crack in the wood. As a result, the gate has fallen over. Immediate repairs are required to secure the loose post and either reinforce or replace the damaged central post to restore the gate’s stability and functionality.

Wire trellis installation on back timber fence

Hi there, Anyone is qualified to help me to build and install the timber garden fence at my cafe. You would need to measure the area.

I need 4 steel sleeper posts installed for a timber sleeper garden wall. I’ve already dug holes to 450mm deep by these will need to be 600mm deep. Posts will be 1200mm high I don’t have the right spade to dig deeper. Ideally, whoever does this will have a laser level or some way to ensure the posts are installed at the right height. I will supply posts and premix concrete. Just need someone’s skill to put the posts in correctly. I wouldn’t expect this to take more than 2 hours for someone with the right tools and experience.

I’m looking for a professional to inspect two fences that are in poor condition: The fence next to the pool, which is deteriorating. The garden fence, which came loose after a palm tree fell on it during last year’s storm. The payment for this task is only for the inspection.
