Our side gate to the garden has seen better days. The wooden post attached to the brickwork has started to rot, and the gate itself is starting to pull out from it. Post is about 100mm x 75 mm x 1.6m that has a thinner piece of wood attached, that the gates screwed through to the sleeper. Post looks to be secured to the brickwork by 2 long bolts at the top, unsure how secured at the bottom. Hoping to replace the sleeper with some H4 treated pine + the thin bit to keep the gate width and keep the same gate fixtures.

Construct a 5 meter paling fence and remove the old one.either hardwood or treated pine. The fence has metal posts.

We have a 5 meter long area outside a fence to put planter boxes. We are removing a wood Pailing fence and would like the boxes made of this material or we’ll buy new ones. They will be placed on concrete. We will fill them ourselves. The boxes could be 3 x 150 long x 400 high x 300 (or whatever fits the palings) wide and spaced along the concrete. Also any other suggestions are welcome.

Repair fence divider that is damaged. It’s about 2.5m wide and a horizontal panel has fallen off and the structure is slightly lopsided.

Install a tree swing from a large backyard tree. I think I have all the necessary materials but can pay for any additional materials required and cover time to purchase.

Install a Colourbond panel approx 3400mm wide by 1000mm high - woodland grey

Three metal poles hold old three-sided fence in place. They are all 5cm by 5cm. Need them cut off at the ground, flush with the cement, and the poles and the fence wood taken away to the tip. There are around 60 verticle fence planks (probably reusable if you want them) and four horizontal beams (not reusable), as in photo. The enclosure is 5 metres long and around two metres wide at its widest. Any day from 10 to 15 October works well. (Have to get quote approved from body corporate first)

Paint outside fence (monument colour). Fence approximately 15-20m by 2m. Some plants in front of fence would need to be worked around. Section of the fence shown in photo ( but more to be done than shown)

Removal of 4 wooden posts which previously held lattice screens in place. To make it easier, the individual posts can be cut below the soil level rather than having to dig them up completely.

Install a Wooden gate on side of house

We have one side of our backyard that needs a new colorbond fence. We currently have an old wooden fence that needs replacing. It’s a straight line of approx 28metres long. We want the fence to be 2m high. Can we 1.8m panels with treated pine sleepers at the bottom or 2m panels. Colour is basalt. Ideally installed in the next week.

180cm side fence, hardwood palings and rails, steel posts, 10 metres

Fence panel needs to be relocated. It will need 2 new fence posts to be supplied and installed (galv, holding 3 rails). The panel will need to be lifted from the old post to the new, about 650mm away. The panel is very heavy (my guess 150kg), you may need lifting apparatus. The panel is about 3 meters long and 1.8m high.
