Tasks include: 1) Install gate post…Secure post to retaining wall with heavy-duty screws + set base in concrete. Must be level and sturdy. 2)Attach gate & hinges…Install hinges onto gate, then mount gate to post. Ensure it’s aligned and swings smoothly. 3) Re-install gate slats… I had to take it off because it was too heavy to move. The pre-drilled holes are already there. 4) Finishing touches… Fill any gaps/holes with putty and sand if needed for a clean finish. Note: Gate may need extra reinforcement (Z-frame or H-frame) if it feels weak or starts to sag.
