I’m replacing the front timber fence (~19 m long) and reinforcing the driveway gate section. Most posts are in good condition and will stay in place — only 2–3 timber posts need replacing (I already have spare matching posts). I’ll also supply two galvanised steel posts for the driveway gate, plus all timber slats, plinth boards, screws, concrete, and oil. I’ve already prepared the site and marked which posts to replace. ⸻ Scope: • Remove and replace 2–3 existing timber posts (supplied). • Set 2 galvanised steel posts (100 × 100 mm) for the driveway gate — no top/bottom rail required, only posts. • Install new vertical timber slats (Merbau or treated pine, 90 × 19 mm) across 19 m span with 3–5 mm spacing. • Install bottom plinth board (150 × 25 mm) and ensure level, alignment, and tidy finish. • Oil/stain all new timber for protection. • Remove and dispose of old fence sections and debris. ⸻ You bring: • Tools (post-hole digger, drill, saw, levels, clamps, etc.) • Skills in timber fencing, concreting, and gate alignment. Old gate is old and falling apart. Replace with newer more sturdy gate. Nicer timber or timber looking with low maintenance would be good. Self closing nice to have.

Seeking a skilled professional to replace a ~7m retaining wall at my property with a durable concrete wall supported by metal posts. The current wall, measuring 110cm in height, will need to be removed and replaced with a sturdy, long-lasting solution. Existing fences are to remain untouched. The space between the fence and house is around 5m. We would like a 2.4m gate (or 2 x 1.2m gates if its cheaper) in the centre of the driveway with around 1.3m fence on either side. Fence/gate height needs to be at least 1.5m. The driveway is concrete with a small unconcreted strip beside the house. We would like vertical fence palings like the ones that border most properties. I’m looking for someone to supply and install a glass pool fence with a self closing gate. Approximately 25 Mtr of fence. Would like done ASAP but know it’s the silly season so happy to go with who ever can do it. Ideally by the end of Jan. .

Looking for someone to build the following. Not really sure what the costs would be so probably need some guidance. 1. Gate to keep my dogs and kids off an area beside my house, straight line from brick wall to fence (see photo one). Ideally have a small fixed panel then a gate. Total 2m wide and about 1.2m high would be ideal. Preferably not wood, would rather steel/aluminium posts & frame and a aluminium or composite material for the slats. 2. Similar to above, but for another area where I have created a garden shed beside the house. (See photo 2). Already have the metal posts and gate frame installed. Total is approximately 2m wide and ideally about 1.8m - 1.9m high. 3. Screening the colourbond wall (see photo 3). Total is approximately 4.6m wide X 2.4m high. I'm open to ideas and again, ideally not wanting timber that I need to maintain. I considered James Hardie axon cladding but there might be easier or more cost effective ways to pretty up this area so I am open to suggestions.
