Find a local events coordinator in Southern Highlands

We’re looking for a lovely, capable person to join us for the day and help with our private marquee at the Bong Bong Races in Bowral. We’ll have around 15 guests, all a very friendly, relaxed group. The role is a mixture of helping us set up the marquee in the morning, RSA drinks service and light wait-staff duties during the day, and helping us pack everything down at the end. We’d love someone who: * Has a current NSW RSA * Is friendly, presentable and comfortable serving drinks (beer, wine and champagne) * Is reasonably fit and strong, as we’ll need an extra pair of hands carrying boxes and setting up and packing down * Is comfortable going up an A-frame ladder to help hang some decorations * Is happy to pitch in with things like arranging food and drinks, keeping the marquee tidy, topping up glasses and generally helping the day run smoothly. Guests will also pour their own drinks and help themselves to food. * Is ideally local to Bowral/Southern Highlands Hospitality or event experience would be great. A 4-step A-frame ladder would be incredibly helpful but is definitely not essential. If you have one you can bring with you, we’ll pay an extra $50 for the day. Pay is $50/hour. 9am-6pm working throughout = $450. If you’d prefer, you can take an optional one-hour unpaid break during the quieter part of the day = $400. Bring a suitable A-frame ladder = additional $50. Maximum payment $500. There is free parking on site. It should be a really fun day with a lovely group. We are an events company and we are hosting the Agri Show at the Moss Vale Showgrounds (Southern Highlands) on August 29 and 30. Hello, I'm looking for a person with waitressing experience to set up bain maries, plates and cutlery for a 60 person dinner for 3 hours with a catering kitchen. You don't need to serve the meals, just to pop the food into the bain maries and make sure there's serving utensils and the area is tidy as people come through. As people finish eating, I'd want you to clear their plates and put them in the dishwasher. After dinner is complete, I'd expect the bain maries washed and cleared, and tables and surfaces wiped down. All supplies - plates/dishwashers/kitchen/cutlery will be provided, we just need you! Hours would be 5-8pm.
