My Fisher&Paykel dryer broke down and was about to buy a new Dryer. Thought I will try my luck as the waiting time for new Dryer was over a couple of weeks. Dinesh was very knowledgeable about the electrical machinery and is actually a proper engineer by education. Will call him again if anything else breaks down.

Repair Electrolux EDV6051 Update: added photo I got into the back and the belt wheel has melted and fallen off Motor still works, can rotate the drum manually by the drum doesn’t rotate when on. I assume it just requires a belt repair. Would love it repaired today as we use it A LOT.

The dryer stopped spinning yesterday. It was a bit noisy in the cycle before it stopped spinning. Suspect one of the bearings / pulleys / spindle supporting the drum might have come off, as the drum is difficult to spin manually also (by hand, when turned off). Place is Lilyfield, I am flexible today anytime or later in the week also.
