I need to hoist a 156kg fridge over a deck

I am looking to find a carpenter to give me a hand with finishing off my deck. Most of the frame will be finished,and will mainly just need assistance with installing three posts for the later to be built pattio roof, header board to finish off the frame and installing the decking. Ideally looking for a carpenter who is looking for a bit of extra work.

I need a hand to help finish my deck. The frame is almost finished and I may need a hand fininshing what is left of the frame and installing the decking boards. Ideally looking for a carpenter who wants some side work. In the coming weeks I will also need help with installing a pattio roof in the near future if you are keen for that as well. Deck is 6x5m.

Deck for garden to be built

Remove old deck timber. Replace with outdoor floor sheeting. Extend deck area from 2.5m x 2.5m to 2.5m x 4m. New deck area to be installed over existing concrete. Tiles to be removed by us prior to fitting new deck area.

Removal of wooden hardwood deck on timber frame. You can have the wood to recycle or do whatever you like with the timber but all the wood must be removed from the house. Deck Approx 11m long by 5m wide. Very accessible.

We’re chasing quotes for a front & back deck, combined approx 33m2. We’ve levelled out the areas they’ll be installed to approx 300mm clearance out the back and 190mm clearance out the front. Need posts/footings installed, framing and decking boards (90mm or 140mm Merbau is preferred). Happy to consider purchasing materials if provided a list. The sooner you’re available the better. Would like it done ASAP.

Hi, we need our deck repaired , needs handrails, wood etc all replaced as its rotted and rusted.

The size of living area is 3530mm × 3890mm. Also need one step on each side. No timber. Need composite. Currently its concrete. So need to build it on top with a frame.

Installation of Joists for Future Deck We require assistance installing 90x45mm timber joists to support future decking in 3 areas: • Alfresco – 5.5m × 3.5m • Side Yard – 4.7m × 2.4m • Front Porch – 2.4m × 1.3m Total area: approximately 34 sqm. Scope of Work 1. Cut Joists – Use a mitre saw to cut each joist to fit the allocated space, allowing an extra +100mm for precise trimming after decking boards are installed. 2. Position Joists – Place each joist next to the existing L-shape angle brackets (already installed). 3. Install Pedestals – Position plastic adjustable pedestals underneath each joist, 100mm in from each end, then approximately 1m apart along the length. 4. Height Adjustment – Adjust pedestals so the top of each joist sits 19mm below the brick door step, ensuring future 19mm decking boards will be flush with the door steps. 5. Gap Adjustment – Position each joist 49mm from the door step, allowing for a 30mm gap to the house plus a 19mm side board. 6. Leveling – Ensure all joists are level along their full length; adjust pedestals and add plastic shims as necessary. 7. Fix to Brackets – Pre-drill and secure joists to brackets using 14G Hex screws (50mm). 8. Double Joists (First & Last) – The first and last joists in each section should be doubled, with a bracket between them. Join using a 120mm bolt and nut, following the same process: install, adjust, level, pre-drill, and fix. Joist Quantities & Fixing Points • Alfresco: 10 joists @ 5.5m each – fix to 5 brackets • Side Yard: 13 joists @ 2.4m each – fix to 3 brackets • Front Porch: 9 joists @ 1.3m each – fix to 2 brackets Key Requirement: All joists must be level across each area and sit 19mm below the door steps. Decking boards will not be installed at this stage (to be done later by others). I will provide all materials & tools I will be on-site to guide you through the process, but the work will need to be completed entirely by you.

Deck needs to be repainted waterproofing. Some need to be replaced due to crack. But not many.

We have a concrete path and concrete deck at the front of our home, we just need it to be levelled ( cracks filled in ) and cleaned ready to be painted for sale.
