Hi there, I have a velvet couch that needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Because it is quite a delicate material it will need to be professionally cleaned using special tools. From my research, I believe that Steam cleaning is harmful for this type of couch. As part of the deep clean it will need to gently brushed with a soft bristled brush to restore its pile, remove flattened areas and revitalise the sofa’s appearance and restore its blue colour. It also has pet residue that may have seeped into the sofa that will need to cleaned thoroughly.
