This is a custom electronics/maker craft project to convert an obsolete vintage laptop shell into a wall-mounted decorative ambient lamp. Task Description > Overview: > Looking for an experienced maker, electronics hobbyist, or repair tech to convert a vintage 2006/2008 Black MacBook (Model A1181) into a custom wall-mounted ambient LED sconce. > Scope of Work: > * Teardown: Completely gut the laptop's internal parts (remove logic board, heatsink, battery, optical drive, and LCD glass matrix) to hollow out the casing and drop the weight. Keep the outer shell, keyboard top-case, bezel, and translucent rear Apple logo window completely intact. > * LED Installation: Install a 12V/24V RGBCCT COB (dotless) LED strip inside the hollow display lid behind the Apple logo and along the lower rim. > * Wiring & Controller: Wire the strip to a micro Zigbee LED controller (e.g., Gledopto Mini) so it pairs natively with my Philips Hue setup. Route a clean DC power cable neatly out through the back of the laptop body. > * Wall Mount Setup: Prepare or attach mounting hardware on the rear so the laptop hangs flush on the wall with the screen held slightly ajar to cast an ambient light wash down the wall. > Parts & Reimbursement: > * I supply: The Black MacBook A1181. > * Parts Reimbursement: I will fully reimburse you for all required electrical and hardware components (COB LED strip, Zigbee controller, power supply, wiring, mounting hardware). I want someone to wirelessly connect my new printer to my computer

Need my Apple MacBook laptop screen replaced. Screen has lines going down as is cracked in one spot. Can hear the laptop working but screen is black and cracked on the left. MacBook Model Name: MacBook Pro Model A2251

I live in a 3 bedroom, 2 story house. My wifi worked well in the front of the house but never in the back of the house. I bought a netgear booster for the back of the house and now it’s not working consistently and effectively particularly when several devices are using the network. Need someone to come look at it, potentially go to JB Hi Fi to buy me a different solution, and get it working well. I can send photos of what I currently have. I work from home so need this fixed this week. Will pay more for your time if a trip to JB Hifi is needed and will obviously pay for parts.

I have an old hard drive, I think it may even be slightly toast. I took it to a computer shop though, and the guy there said the information on it was salvageable. Except he charged me what felt like an extortionate price. Just need some help to hopefully get some old pictures off this hard drive, as I have no other way of accessing those memories!
