We’re looking for an experienced cleaner with the right equipment (very tall ladder + extendable cleaning tools) to clean high, hard-to-reach areas in our apartment before we move in. This is not a standard clean — the unit has ALREADY had an end-of-lease clean. However, high areas were not properly maintained by the previous tenant and need attention. Scope of work includes: • Removing spider webs, dead bugs and dust from high ceilings in the living room • Cleaning small high windows (interior side) • Cleaning outdoor balcony ceiling areas (including cobweb removal) • Vacuuming/cleaning out dead bugs inside all light fixtures - you will have to remove the light fixture from the ceiling to clean, no damages to light bulb • Removing any spider webs in corners (not much) ceiling edges, and other hard-to-reach areas Equipment requirements (essential): • Very tall ladder suitable for high ceilings (I didn’t measure the height of the very high ceiling) • Extendable cleaning tools (long-handle duster/mop) • Please do not apply if you don’t have the appropriate equipment • Tarp to place over carpet for protection, when using ladder Final step: We will provide a natural peppermint + tea tree oil spray, which we’d like applied to the cleaned high areas once completed. Additional notes: • No general cleaning required — this is targeted, high-area cleaning only • Attention to detail is important — we want this done thoroughly, not rushed • Property will be empty (no furniture), making access easier We will provide shoe plastic covers you are required to wear when you are inside the unit. I need someone to come and clean our walls (and prevent mould with clove oil) including moving furniture out of the way, wipe down on top of cupboards, dust and clean the ceilings and clean the skirting boards. We live in a highset 3 bedroom tropical Darwin house.
