Hi there! I am looking for a detail-oriented cleaner or handyman to thoroughly clean and restore my Smeg built-in BBQ. The job requires two main tasks: 1. Grill Restoration (Rust Removal): The cast iron grill grates have a significant amount of surface rust (see photos). I need someone to completely scrub off all the rust down to the bare metal, and then properly re-season them with oil so they are protected and ready for cooking. Note: The rust has started flaking/peeling in some areas, so power tools (e.g., angle grinder with wire wheel) or heavy-duty rust treatment may be required to completely strip it to bare metal. 2. BBQ Deep Clean: The interior (drip trays, underneath the grills) has grease stains and grime. The exterior stainless steel control panel and knobs also need a heavy-duty degrease and polish to remove weather spots and grease. Requirements: You must bring your own heavy-duty cleaning supplies, tools (e.g., wire brushes/steel wool for the rust), and high-smoke-point oil for seasoning the grates.
