I am having new carpet laid & need some heavy furniture moved & then moved back when the carpet is laid. The date may change as I am looking to see if I can hire someone to do the task before I order the carpet

Carpet was installed 18 months ago. Had a water leak from shower and it went onto the carpet. I lifted it to dry it out and now need it resealed to the ground.

I want to replace carpet in all 3 bedrooms

I would need a flooring installed by a 'suitably qualified contractor' per my body corporate lot improvement conditions. The area is ~8sqrm in an apartment building and I have already purchased the planks and underlay (see pictures for details). I can remove the existing carpet and existing carpet underlay myself. But I would need the wooden boards (with nails sticking out) removed, and the new underlay and laminate flooring installed. The laminate planks are 8mm thick, and new underlay is 2mm thick. The gap between the concrete and the bottom of the skirtings on the sides of the room looks to only be approximately 8mm, which may result in needing to have some of the excess skirting material cut off horizontally to fit both the new underlay and laminate planks underneath the skirting (from my understanding).

We are looking for an experienced carpet repairer/ jack of all trades to replace a small patch of carpet due to pet damage. We have the replacement carpet ready to go, however not the carpet glue/required tools. Job will take approximately 1 hour or less (comparing to a previous/same repair).

Fix carpet burn mark as per pic. We don’t have spare carpet piece.

Carpet has been damaged in both bedrooms, with approximately 5-10 small sections along the edges pulled up by a dog. The damage is mainly to the surface fibres/strips rather than the entire carpet. Seeking repair rather than full replacement if possible, such as patching or re-stretching. Happy for you to give me a quote and a price estimate if I need to go over my budget I will. Thanks!

We have a boat at Sanctuary Cove Marina and need to have the carpet in the hallway replaced. We have the carpet already but you will need to supply some underlay and you will be basically using the old carpet as a template and replacing it with the new piece. As per the photo, you will see two hatches. you can unscrew the frame with a Philips head screwdriver, replace the carpet and install the frame from the cutout pieces. You will also have to spray contact the underlay to the carpet as per the existing piece as the carpet is a tight fit and there is no smooth edge. The boat has easy access and accessibility.

So I stupidly took up the carpet AND removed the spiky wood things it sits on. The carpet is back on the ground but it needs fixing. My offer is without the cost of materials. I am happy to add cost of materials. The room is 6m x 3.2m.

Corner of carpet has been professionally cleaned due to pet damage. Now needs to be set back into position - need new triangle if foam underlay, as it was removed due to damage. New foam underlay should be adhered to carpet ( I don't have adhesive) - need the carpet grippers set into the concrete ( I have a 6 pack from Bunnings,but need them cut to size and hammered into concrete) - need the carpet set onto the grippers

A section or carpet in The hall way is quiet worn out and needs to be replaced , I have enough of the original carpet stored in the garage , hence just need to have the spare carpet cut and installed .

I have had a water leak inside my commercial office and require the old wet carpet to be cut off at a section and removed. Whilst I am not yet aware of the primary cause / location of the water ingress as it’s a body corporate building, I would like to have some silicon work done in the interim to hopefully mitigate further leaks until we can find the source.

Need 2 internal doors trimmed slightly at the bottom due to new carpet causing them to scrape. Straightforward job: remove doors, trim, and refit so they clear the carpet properly.
