Looking for recommendations/quote – carpet layer/repairer 😊 I have one bedroom where unfortunately there has been repeated puppy urine on the carpet that wasn’t cleaned up straight away. The carpets have previously been professionally cleaned and treated, but there is still a strong urine smell, so I suspect it has soaked through into the underlay. The carpet itself is still in good condition, so I’m hoping to have someone come out and have a look, lift the carpet and potentially replace the underlay/treat the flooring underneath, then relay the existing carpet if it can be saved. Carpet has been damaged in both bedrooms, with approximately 5-10 small sections along the edges pulled up by a dog. The damage is mainly to the surface fibres/strips rather than the entire carpet. We have a boat at Sanctuary Cove Marina and need to have the carpet in the hallway replaced. We have the carpet already but you will need to supply some underlay and you will be basically using the old carpet as a template and replacing it with the new piece. As per the photo, you will see two hatches. you can unscrew the frame with a Philips head screwdriver, replace the carpet and install the frame from the cutout pieces. You will also have to spray contact the underlay to the carpet as per the existing piece as the carpet is a tight fit and there is no smooth edge. The boat has easy access and accessibility.
