Looking for someone to repair 3 sections on a balcony. The balcony is currently a decked area covered in chipboard with vinyl on top. First job is a section approx 100cm x 80cm of the chip board at the edge near the top step (see pic) has rotted away and needs cutting out and replacing so that it is not a hazard. Secondly, the maroon piece of wood above the top step has split at the back (see pics) and needs to be either replaced or braced (if more cost effective) on the back to ensure it is safe. Thirdly, the same repair as above again but on the other end of the balcony Please quote to do just the wood repairs and then we can discuss a separate quote to replace the vinyl (which is not as urgent).

Approx 45 square metres. Could probably do with a light sanding, general tidy/refresh, and couple of coats of stain. I’ll have all furniture removed before the job.

The job includes cleaning, preparing the surface, and applying good-quality decking oil (2 coats)for a smooth and durable finish.

We are purchasing a home that settles on 15 January. I need the house floors sanded and restained. There is carpet in the living area that needs to be pulled up as well. 3 bedroom house with living / dining and rumpus room. I only have a few images as we do not have the keys yet.

The microwave on the countertop fits on the top shelf of the cabinet in the picture (with a longer shelf in place). The idea is to move the microwave to the shelf (thereby freeing up countertop space and convert one of the doors to a horizontal door that hinges towards the floor. The top part with the microwave will remain open so that the microwave can be used with ease.

Build and install floor to ceiling shelf unit with dimensions 300mm deep, 500mm wide shelves. 220mm apart. Shelves to appear floating like Ikea LACK shelving unit (https://www.ikea.com/ie/en/p/lack-wall-shelf-unit-black-brown-80430591/). I have no idea of what this would cost. Number in budget is just made up but I'd want this to be quality rather than cheap an nasty.

Need to assemble ikea cabinet for a bench top in the kitchen

This 40 year old skylight is 55W x 85L with a 40mm wooden frame with mitred corners around the perimeter as a trim, and to retain a PVC defuser at ceiling level. The frame has warped slightly possibly due to the heat, and so needs replacing, preferably with something 50mm wide just to cover any damage to the ceiling when the existing frame is removed. Something with a a skirting board profile would be ideal, and smooth and unfinished is fine as I'll stain it later. NOTES ▪︎ the diffuser is only temporarily covered with cardboard to darken the room so that overnighting grandkids can sleep 😴 (see photos) ▪︎ ceiling height is 2.4m (8')

My customer purchased a 200cm teak lounge. Unfortunately our manufacturer made the base of the lounge with the slats sitting on top of the wood frame, instead of inside so you cannot see it from the front. I need someone to cut back the slats and sit them inside the frame. Some of the timber frame will need to be cut back for the slats to sit in. Please see photos of how it should look and how it currently looks. I can take more photos tomorrow. - Due date: Flexible
