Looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner to install glass panels into the upper sections of two existing solid timber front doors. Each door is approximately 2300mm high × 815mm wide. The aim is to replace the existing upper timber panels with glass to bring more natural light into the entrance hallway while retaining the existing doors and moulded detailing. We are currently leaning towards vertical fluted/reeded safety glass, although happy to discuss the best way to modify and glaze the existing doors. Budget of $550 is for the carpentry/joinery and installation work. Glass can be supplied separately or discussed with the successful Tasker. Photos show the existing doors and examples of the look we’re trying to achieve. Ideally looking for someone with experience modifying solid timber doors or similar joinery.

Hello, I'm looking for someone with experience in cabinetry, built-in wardrobes or joinery to finish an IKEA PAX wardrobe install to make it appear built in and a tidy finish. Scope of works 1. Install infill/filler panels • Fill the gaps between the wardrobe and the side walls with 16mm MR MDF. • Scribe the panels to the walls where required so everything sits flush. • Ideally use moisture-resistant MDF or similar ready for painting. 2. Install a kicker/plinth board • Cover the existing timber base with a neat kicker/plinth with either 16 or 18mm with 16mm MR MDF. • Continue the plinth across the full width so it appears built in. • Minimise visible joins. 3. Finishing • Light sand and prime final cut and fitted pieces • Colour match GRIMO door at Dulux trade centre • Ideally, paint with low sheen Dulux Aquanamel and using high-density foam roller to achieve sprayed-looking texture • Finish neatly against the existing skirting boards and also IKEA base (may require some filling of gaps above plinth / kicker) • Caulk as required. Seeking a handyperson. Generally easy jobs I would take on myself. Gardening: Mowing, weeding, lopping Property maintenance: leveling pavers, painting, joinery, deck oiling, pest control Simple roof restoration, repairs What I am looking for is someone who can take on all the jobs I would normally do myself around the home. On a fortnightly basis starting with the garden, tidying it up, weeding, sorting out the garden beds, taking care of plants and retic. Then when that is under control or on the non growing season moving time onto property maintenance like gutters, pavers etc while keeping the garden in order. I would appreciate someone who can identify areas of improvement and improve the look of my property over time. I am thinking this might suit a monthly service fee over a couple of years until I no longer need the service.

Have almost installed small Apartment ikea kitchen but just need help finishing it off with a few tricky bits, kick boards, moving the oven cupboard over by 10cm, adding end panels, free standing Dishwasher trimming out, and we would like to trim out a wall around a fridge and above a tall pantry to the ceiling All with matching ikea end panels etc if possible - tried ourselves but lacking skills and tools so need a professional please

I bought a pullout rangehood and it doesn’t fit into my existing joinery. It’s off by mils as the lip on the laminate either side seems to be too thick or the cabinets have expanded over time. I need the cabinets either side trimmed up to make it fit and then for the rangehood to be installed. Rangehood specs: Height (mm) 175 mm Width (mm) 898 mm Depth (mm) 300 mm Model Number WRR904SB. Width of joinery is approx 894 mm.

Looks like the pipe has cracked underneath or is leaking out the flange. Have tried tightening it looks like it’s getting worse so I just need to replace that pipe in between. Have a ladder ready for roof access it’s at the front of the house. .
