I have bought a new desk and it had an elm wash. It was suggested that I should paint the desk with black paint and wipe it off with a soft rag. It hasn't come up like I hoped it would. Happy for recommendations to make it look better. Suggestions? If you are experienced at restorations like this, please let me know what it would cost for you to do this job.

I need a wooden box made up from treated pine 1500mm x 1200mm by 370mm high to cover a water tank lid at ground level in my back yard. The box would have a frame with these dimensions and have slats around the sides and top. I was having flu and was cleaning the sink plumbing with PowerForce Drain Buster. I sneeze and some of the crystals must have landed on my Essa Stone benchtop. I just wiped it with a damp cloth and the next day i had white spots on my benchtop. I need someone who can get rid of these white spots. Basically from Google, my benchtop need to be resurface/refinish so it looks and feel brand new. Payment would only be made after my benchtop looks and feels brand new.
