There is a plastic tube stuck in the generator oil compartment. I was doing an oil change today, and used a suction pump inserting a plastic tube to pump out old oil. After oil extraction, i pulled out the tube, and the tube broke, and is somewhere in oil pan. Ive tried using a wire to fish out the tube, but no success. I spoke to the generator manufacturer, who said the best way to remove tube was to disconnect alternator from engine which gives access to crankshaft and easy to get out tube. He said it is not too difficult a job. I don't have right tools, and need someone to do this job. The generator is a GENTECH brand, based on a Honda GX390 engine. This generator is connected to a home electricity system to generator back up power and so is an essential machine.
