Mechanic needed to check my Toyota C-HR before I drive it to Toyota Looking for a mechanic to come to my home and check over my 2020 Toyota C-HR 2WD before I drive it to the Toyota service centre. The car: - Hasn't been serviced for around 3 years - Hasn't been driven for around 5 months I just need a basic safety/mechanical check and fix to make sure it's okay for a short drive to the service centre. Please check things like: - 🛞 Tyres and tyre pressure - 🛑 Brakes - 🔋 Battery - 🛢️ Engine oil and other fluids - 🚗 Steering and suspension - 💧 Any obvious leaks - ⚙️ Engine and warning lights - General issues that could make it unsafe to drive If anything basic needs doing before I drive it (e.g. inflate tyres, top up appropriate fluids, battery check/charge, etc.), I'd like that done. I am NOT looking for a full service or major repairs. Toyota will handle that. I just want someone experienced to check the car and make sure there aren't any obvious safety issues before I drive it to Toyota. 📍 Location: Next to Tottenham Station Please message me with your experience and availability.

BMW X5 2016 (F15) — Brake Inspection & Quote Looking for a qualified mechanic to inspect my brakes and provide a quote for replacement. **Situation:** Brake wear sensor light came on 4 weeks ago. Have driven approximately 200km since then. Car is driving normally but needs attention. **Service history:** Purchased the vehicle at 80,000km approximately 2 years ago. Now at 130,000km. No brake or rotor replacement carried out in our ownership. Prior replacement history unknown — may be in the logbook which I can provide for inspection. **What I need:** - Full brake inspection front and rear (pads, rotors, calipers) - Measure rotor thickness against BMW minimum spec — given the mileage I'm expecting rotors likely need replacing too - Separate quote for pads only vs pads + rotors so I can make an informed call - Advise on rear electronic parking brake caliper condition - Note any worn brake wear sensors that need replacing **Location:** Braybrook/Kingsville, Melbourne West Please only apply if you have experience with BMW or European vehicles. Must be a licensed mechanic. Happy to share logbook and discuss before booking.
