I’m looking for a semi-experienced (no newbies) automotive spray painter to respray my 1986 Toyota HiAce pop-top. Scope of work: - Full exterior respray - Main body colour: off-yellow (current colour, as pictured) - Roof section including visor: white There are some sections that may require additional sanding and surface evening due to previous work, as well as the stripe removal. I'll be removing exterior additions as seen in the pictures. I’m very open to discussing: - Me completing some or all of the prep work prior to spraying, or - Including prep in the overall quote - If you know how to reapply or recreate the side stripes after the respray, that’s a bonus (happy to discuss separately), but it’s not required. I’m keen on a quality finish rather than a rushed job. My Ford Fiesta 2010-2012 has an auto-electrical issue. I have taken it to a general mechanic who has recommended I need to find a mechanic that specialises in autoelectrics. There are multiple symptoms that keep deteriorating, including but not limited to: - Lost power in car headlights. (Replaced bulbs but this didn’t resolve the issue, also replaced switch for headlights and didn’t resolve issue ) - interior light on roof of car doesn’t work. - when left for a few days, it takes a few seconds extra to ignite the engine. - some strange noise coming from speakers / sound system (not too problematic, but might be connected to the bigger problem?) - A strange clicking noise when I drive the car slowly (might be unrelated but thought it would be worth mentioning)

The rear seat knob on the back left seat of my Nissan X Trail T31 (2012) has completely come out, meaning I can't put the seat down. My mechanic doesn't have a solution to fixing this that won't cost a bomb with new parts etc, so putting this out there for someone who can do a DYI hack - happy for any solution such as threaded nylon, threaded rod etc. I'm not actually sure of what solution there is - it may need a serious engineering mind hack a fix, or alternatively simply require a whole seat replacement from the wreckers.
