I don't drive much (~5,000 km per year) and am looking for a car known for its reliability, as my previous purchase was a lemon from the beginning. My preferred options are sedans such as the Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, or Honda Civic. I am open to suggestions regarding the car's make, model, year, mileage, and hearing options for the best car based on my usage. Budget for the used car: $10k - $15k Services Required: - Sourcing a Used Car - preferably from a private party, as I feel dealerships often lack knowledge of the car's history and are overpriced compared to private sellers. Also, dealerships are professional second-hand car salespeople, literally. - Pre-Purchase Checks and Inspections - Please provide a comprehensive list of checks you do, including initial contact with the seller to ask essential questions, followed by a thorough on-site inspection of the car. I need a HZ Holden visually inspected for excess rust (there is some present obviously, just want to know how bad) and since it's unlicensed, just have the car started and idled for a while to check for leaks, overheating, anything obviously wrong.
Managed to make a call to organise viewing of the car within minutes and perform the inspection within an hour of job confirmation. Can't ask for much better than that.

I hired Adam to inspect a car which I wanted to buy, he was prompt and punctual, he organise a time with the seller and did the inspection. Called me to inform the good things and issues with the car .
