Re use any of the sleepers that are in good condition, replace the others, Red gum. Install drainage behind the wall if it is nit already there. In your reply please explain how you will do the job, and what machinery you have to do the job. In your budget allow for labour, plus materials. Materials will need to be variable, as we do not know if you can salvage any sleepers.

I have a detached brick structure in the backyard (approx 46 sq metres) that requires replacement of a section of the brick wall as well as the infill concrete slab due to tree root damage. It may also need some reinforcement of the roof due a slight sagging of the rafters. It is more repair than a renovation but I think I’ll need permits to undertake works (Banyule Council area). I’ve attempted to install a Milkcan clothesline on my sloping concrete driveway, but I’m struggling to get the post level both ways without using packers that end up showing and making it look really bad.
