I need to install a dash cam that I have already purchased. It's a front & rear dash cam set up and needs to be hardwired.

The battery and the starter motor have been replaced in the last three months so effectively brand-new. The starts starts ok most times but occasionally does not start. Turning the key simply makes no noise. All other electrical systems - the lighting, opening the door with the key, headlights, radio etc work ok. The car is a Kia Soul 2017.

Install mirror clip on reverse camera. Model is Gator GRV90MKT. Needs to be linked to "reverse" mode in the transmission, so it only comes on in reverse. Thanks :)
