Title Repair / replace handle on pool sand filter (Fluidra CA280) Description The handle on my pool sand filter multiport valve has snapped off and needs to be repaired or replaced. The filter is still plumbed in and working but the valve can’t be turned safely. Looking for someone experienced with pool equipment to: Supply and fit a new handle (or complete multiport top if required) for the sand/media filter Make sure the multiport seals correctly and cycles through all positions (Filter / Backwash / Rinse / Waste etc.) Check for leaks and ensure the system is running properly after the repair Equipment details (from labels in photos) Filter: CA 280 Media Filter (40 mm) – Fluidra, top-mount Valve: 40 mm multiport for CA filter – Top Mount MPV Assembled in Australia by Fluidra (build date 26/11/2021) Access is straightforward from the side of the house. I'm not sure if my dryer is fixable, but I'd like to try this approach first. I think it's clogged up with flint and potentially is a fire hazard... so the machine keeps starting and stopping... there were not flint pads on the machine when we moved in... that's my best guess
