Looking for an experienced appliance repair technician to fix two minor issues on Smeg kitchen appliances in an apartment in Footscray (3011). 1. Smeg Gas Cooktop (4-Burner): Issue: Auto-ignition is not working across all 4 burners (no clicking/sparking when pressing knobs). > Cause: Central ignition module/pack likely needs replacement or service. Gas supply is fine and burners light manually. 2. Smeg Built-In Dishwasher (Model: DWA6214X2): Issue: The grey plastic door latch assembly at the top inner panel has a snapped right retaining lug, causing the catch mechanism to slide sideways and fail to lock closed cleanly. Requirement: Replace the door catch/latch mechanism with a new genuine Smeg part (Part #: 763450399). Location: Footscray VIC 3011 (Apartment building with lift access). > Please state if you carry standard Smeg spare parts or if parts are charged separately. > Looking for a qualified technician or experienced handyman with appliance repair background.

Kogan Washing Machine not turning on after moving house. All electrical component seems dry (no water leak).

Hi Gurvinder, We are currently obtaining a few quotes and came across your excellent reviews. We have a rental apartment in Footscray where the tenant is experiencing an issue with the dishwasher, and we were hoping you could provide an estimate for the repair. The dishwasher is a Bosch SMS46GI01A (FD: 9811) and is displaying an E24 error. The tenant has advised the following: "I've already cleaned the filter and sump, removed the standing water, and restarted the machine, but the error persists. The drain pump hums when running, however the water does not drain." Based on the above, would you be able to provide an indication of the likely repair cost, including any call-out fee? Kind regards Alessandro

Looking for an experienced commercial kitchen technician or appliance electrician to repair a Washtech m2 pass-through dishwasher. The unit was initially skipping the wash cycle (the wash light came on but the pump didn't engage or make noise, then skipped straight to rinse). Now, the dishwasher has lost complete power and no lights are appearing on the display panel. It has likely blown an internal fuse or suffered an electrical short due to a seized/failed wash pump.

The tap for my washing machine has been leaking. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the valves/washers or a leak in the pipes as well. It leaked even when the water was turned off from me moving the washer. When I tried to turn on the washer the first time, water spilled onto the ground, so the pipes to the washing machine may also not be connected properly. Washing machine is on the ground floor of my house and is quite dusty! (Not expecting you to clean it, just want to make you aware in case of allergies)
