I currently have an Esatto EUM52 (52cm under-cupboard rangehood) installed, and I would like to replace it with a Westinghouse 52cm integrated rangehood (WRI515SC). I have already purchased the new unit. It is mostly plug-and-play, but some minor adjustments are required. The installer will need to: Trim about 5 mm at the back Trim about 2 mm on the side MDF panels This will require basic carpentry work (cutting/chiselling the cabinet panels).

I want to replace my current Bosch DFM064W54A range hood with the Haier HC60BLX1. I already have the Haier range hood in my possession. I am thinking the Haier model can be put in the same place as the existing one. It would be without the metal chute/duct covering that goes up to the ceiling, as it would be hidden behind cabinet doors anyway; no point. One concern I have is that the new Haier range hood has its duct connection in the centre, right under that power point on the wall. I am not sure if the duct can be connected because of the location of the power point, maybe the power point needs to be moved? Also note that the back cabinet particle board only extends down 95mm below the power point. Below that, it is bare wall(brick I think?) My understanding is that there are two screws of the range hood that need to be attached to the wall in the area below the particle board, so I guess more board needs to be put in on top of the brick wall? This is an apartment. The walls are brick.
