Check the archive history to see what the domain was used for before; a consistent, legitimate site is better than spam or junk content. -Quality backlinks. Fewer good links from relevant sites are better than lots of low-quality links. -Relevant anchor text. Links pointing to the domain should look natural and related to the topic, not stuffed with keywords. -Steady organic traffic. Domains that previously got real search traffic are generally more promising than ones that only had short-lived or paid traffic. -Good age consistency. Make sure the registration history and archive history line up, so the domain is genuinely aged rather than recently dropped and re-registered. -Domains that come with websites should be prioritised What to avoid - Spam or toxic backlinks. A backlink profile full of junk, foreign spam, or irrelevant sites is a major red flag. - PBN use. If the domain was part of a private blog network or similar scheme, skip it. -Irrelevant history. A domain that used to be about something completely unrelated to your niche usually has weak value for your project. -Legal risk. I own a Perth plumbing business, and I’m looking for an experienced Google Ads and website specialist to manage and improve our online lead generation. Our main goal is to make hot water system replacements a major part of our business. I need someone who can manage the complete system, NOT just Google Ads.
