WHO CAN TAKE PART 30+, living in Australia, shops on a phone and uses Facebook/Instagram. You should have a genuine use for a steamer (work clothes, travel, replacing an iron, etc.). You must be able to record your phone screen with spoken English commentary. No face recording needed. THE TASK We will send the Facebook ad and store links after assignment. Please wait for them so we capture your first impression. 1. Record yourself viewing the ad. What is being offered? What do you expect? Would you normally click or scroll past, and why? 2. Visit the store and think aloud as you decide whether to spend your own money. Browse naturally. Be honest as possible. 3. Identify the exact point where you would buy, leave or postpone, and explain why. You do not have to keep shopping after deciding to leave. 4. After browsing, answer: - Would you buy this product from this store at the displayed total price: yes, no or not yet? Why? - What most influenced your decision? Show the relevant screen or information. - What, if anything, was missing, unclear or different from the ad's promise? - What would need to change before you would buy? Nothing needs changing is a valid answer. - What would you actually do next: buy here, compare, buy elsewhere or do nothing? DELIVERABLE A private screen recording with voice (around 15-20 minutes including your summary), plus a few written sentences on your decision and main reasons.
