I am looking for an air conditioning installer to install a split-system air conditioning unit at my property. I have a Braemar ducted gas heater and Braemar evaporative cooling system that previously operated using the same Braemar Spectrolink controller. An air-conditioning company recently decommissioned/disconnected the gas heater as part of a Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) installation. Since the heater was disconnected, the Spectrolink controller is completely blank/off and the evaporative cooler can no longer be operated. The evaporative cooler itself was working normally before the heater was disconnected. What I need I am looking for a licensed electrician / qualified HVAC technician with experience with Braemar Spectrolink systems to: Inspect the existing Braemar control system and wiring Determine why the Spectrolink controller lost power/function after the heater was disconnected Restore the evaporative cooler so it can operate independently of the decommissioned gas heater Reconfigure or bypass the heater portion of the control system if technically possible Reconnect the existing Spectrolink controller to the evaporative cooler/control module where appropriate Test the evaporative cooler and controller to confirm normal operation I am NOT asking for the gas heater to be reconnected or recommissioned. The heater must remain decommissioned. I would prefer to retain the existing Braemar Spectrolink controller and evaporative cooler rather than replace the entire cooling system, if possible. Important Please only apply if you are familiar with Braemar/Seeley evaporative cooling systems and Spectrolink controllers and are appropriately licensed to carry out any electrical work required. Please quote for the inspection and likely repair/reconfiguration. If additional parts or a replacement control module are required, please advise the cost before proceeding.

The outdoor unit is located on a first-floor metal roof, so safe roof access is required. Job includes: - Remove and replace the deteriorated pipe insulation - Use good-quality outdoor/UV-resistant HVAC insulation (ArmaFlex/Armacell or equivalent) - Properly seal and weather/UV-protect the new insulation Supply all materials and labour Please include all costs in your quote and let me know what insulation/product you plan to use.
