I am installing a new built-in oven under my kitchen gas cooktop and the current cabinet opening is too short in height. The new oven requires about 105mm more vertical space than the existing opening. Plan is to lower the oven from the bottom, not widen the cabinet. Work required: • Cut/remove part of the internal cabinet base panel • Lower the oven support rails / add new rails • Maintain approx 20mm clearance between the top of the oven and the cooktop • Ensure oven is properly supported and level • Cabinet sides must remain intact (stone benchtop above) The cabinet material is melamine / particleboard. No electrical work required — oven will be disconnected already. Standard kitchen cabinet with two timber support rails currently • Oven already pulled out so the cavity is accessible • Looking for someone experienced with cabinet modifications or kitchen installs

Fantastic work. Very experienced and knew exactly what needed to be done. He modified the oven cabinet perfectly, lowered the base and installed solid support rails so the new oven fits exactly as required. Very clean and professional job and took care around the stone benchtop. Arrived on time and completed the work quickly. Highly recommend and would happily use again.
