Luke had to create a new electrical outlet, hook up the plumbing and remove the drawers to make space for the dishwasher - finished the job and the work area super clean. My front-load washing machine is leaking water from the front door area during the wash cycle. The leak seems to come from the bottom of the door. I suspect the door seal / gasket retaining spring has come off or is loose (see photo). I have the metal retaining spring ring that likely needs to be reattached. What I need: Someone experienced with washing machine repairs Inspect the door seal Reattach or fix the retaining spring ring Ensure the machine no longer leaks during operation Details: Front-load washing machine The metal spring clamp for the rubber seal is currently off (see attached photo) Machine otherwise works normally.
