We are wanting to install a bench with a hole in it to integrate a stovetop. We also want a compartment at the bottom to fit a separate oven. We just need the joinery and will figure out the installation of oven and stovetop later. This is to fill in the gap where we currently have a broken freestanding oven/cooktop. We will remove this ourselves. Works required involves the installation of new and removal of old appliances. Details listed below. Photos attached for reference. 2 jobs at the same address so needs to be completed on same day. (1) Oven * Current natural gas oven (72cm height, 60cm width, 10A plug) not working. * Looking to purchase new electric oven Westinghouse WVE612WCP (60cm height, 60cm width, 10A plug). * (a) Electrical Since both old and new ovens have 10A power point lead, I don't believe any electrical work is required. If I still do need electrical work, please advise. * (b) Plumbing From my understanding, a licensed plumber is required to seal the existing gas pipe although I can see a tap that can seal it off (refer photo). If this is not the case, please advise. * (c) Cabinetry Since new oven height (60cm) is shorter than existing (72cm), need someone that can also make any cabinetry adjustments to insert the new oven and potentially to cover the top or bottom gap. Please advise if you can do this also. (2) Rangehood * Current rangehood (60cm width, 29cm depth) is not working. * Looking to purchase new rangehood (Artusi ASO620X) with the same dimensions. * This should be a straight forward swap out.
