Hi, my dishwasher’s Start/Stop button is physically stuck in on the “Start” side. The power is working (green ON light is lit), but it won’t start a cycle. I’ve been told it’s likely the physical microswitch or button mechanism behind the control panel that needs repair or replacement. The Stop side of the button is not dented - only the Start side is physically pressed in and won’t pop back.

I’m looking for a contractor to inspect my kitchen and laundry, provide a quote, and complete the installation work. The job includes installing a dishwasher and a stone benchtop in the kitchen, checking the laundry dryer, and installing a new one if the existing unit is not working. An on-site inspection is required prior to installation to confirm dimensions and provide an accurate quote. Installation is required on 21 or 22 February, with inspection to be arranged before then.

Have a Blanco brand dishwasher. It is currently not working and in need of repair. It started doing this only 3 days ago. Otherwise, never had a problem. The water is not draining from the bottom and it is not switching to program.
