Replace induction cooktop with another one. I am not sure but I think the old one is connected to a 25A. The new one might need a 32A circuit. The switchboard already includes a dedicated switch for Cooktop. Photo attached. You can check what amph is required for the new one to make sure. No need to cut the cabinet as both have same cut size. Certificate of the installation is required from a certified electrician. Hello We have an old Lofra freestanding oven and the cook top panel has partly come off. It is now wonky and we cannot slot it back into place. There feels like there is a fixture under the middle of the back that is stopping it. It’s balanced on 2x4 plinths and it fell off and when we tried to get the legs back and stable. The oven still works fine as it’s electric. But it’s a gas cook top and we aren’t sure if the connections have been damaged. We have also lost the kick plate and cannot find spares online. It’s very old so not surprising. We have a sheet of metal that we thought could be cut to cover that and the gap of the legs. Long shot I know. We are selling and so just want a functioning stove as they’ll likely rip out the kitchen.
