Sparkie has disappeared and I have a patio roof I desperately need to get lights into before the extended family arrive for Christmas Day. Wire has been run, and all cables come out the top of the back channel. Ideally connect into a switch inside, but will be happy with some emergency set up with a switch outside (ideally with a dimmer) temporarily and then sort out properly next year. Schweigen 900 range hood motor on top of tile roof. The flue hose has detached/ripped somewhere and needs re-fixing/replacing, motor seems fine, just not extracting. Reported for warranty and informed not their problem. Need it sorted ASAP.
