Hi, I need someone experienced to inspect and repair my dryer. It stopped working and there was a slight burning smell before it shut off. Now when I turn it on, it makes a humming noise but the drum doesn’t start spinning. The drum still moves freely by hand. It’s an Electrolux 5kg vented dryer. 1. My clothes dryer (Euromaid ED45KG) intermittently loses all power. It will turn on and run normally on a low temperature setting, but when switched to high temperature it runs for around two to three minutes and then shuts off completely and becomes unresponsive. After cooling down for a while, power comes back and I can turn it on again. There is no external vent. I’ve thoroughly cleaned the air intake and all accessible internal filters. The wall outlet is working fine. 2. Washing machine has tiny rocks like grit. We cleaned the drain filter and drawer with little effect, would like an inspection.
