My bedroom door has been sagging, and no longer latches or locks. I've had a go to fix myself by tightening hinges, etc but it hasn't done the trick. If someone has done this before, knows their way around a door hinge, wrench, etc, it would probably be a pretty quick job. See photos for more details, I estimate the door needs to lift by about 15mm to latch. I don't think sanding down the frame is necessary, it's likely quite old, and a lovely original feature of our art deco home, so would like to avoid if possible. I would be very grateful for being able to lock my door.

We have a regular front door which expends and contracts with the weather (ie, rain). OK in the dry, but in the wet it expands. Of course, it could be the frame or structure that is moving. Either way, it seems to me that the best solution is to ease the door. We also need to source (I may be able to do this) and fit a new striker plate (I removed the old one to be able to lock the door).

Screen door needs to be screwed into door frame. The hinges are on the wrong side of the door frame and need to be altered or flipped around (one side of the hinges are screws the other side is pot riveted in (i hope that makes sense) and might need a few tiny wedges between the door frame and the hinges...any handyman would be able to sort this out im just really bad at explaining things.
