I need a bathroom guy. I have a salt damp issue that has badly affected a wall in my bathroom and also through to the other side in kitchen. I need it waterproofed and preferably tiled over. Once this job is done, I would like to discuss the option of putting in a ventilation fan in the wall as a separate job.

I please need the wall above the bath tub water proofed. It's for a rental so practicality and affordability are the priority. I will be getting a shower head installed and dont want water running on the unprotected wall (obviously). Wall Waterproofing I assume it will be expensive to tile the rest of the bathroom wall above the bathtub tiles? I wonder if there's a cheaper option? Wet area wall from bunnings? Trim this to fit, seal at the joins, waterproof paint (or whatever) applied to the wall before installing this ? The reason I ask is id because eventually the bathrooms will be renovated (no time soon) and I'd hate to spend money unnecessarily, however the layout of the bathroom would still probably be the same as I would want to keep a bathtub in the house. Practically and affordability is more of my concern over looks as it is just to make this space functional for showering. There may be some tiles at the house, in the big shed or the smaller shed at the back but I wouldn't expect that. I was unsure of the costing for this , materials + labour. Want someone who does good quality work and want it please done properly.

We had someone try to do some waterproofing but did not work out. The water is still seeping through the tiles and into the room flooring. We need someone to assist with repairing the grouts. I require a qualified tradesperson to inspect and provide a written quote for repairs relating to a leaking shower. Following recent complaint from neighbouring Unit about damp wall had Plumber investigate. Report indicates "Spray tested shower cubicle and found immediate water escaping through grout lines. • Used thermal imaging and confirmed water tracking from shower area, likely beneath tiles, contributing to water ingress into neighbouring property." Think shower walls and base need grouting and waterproofing then rebuild of shower including tiles and walls and probably new shower screen. We think physical inspection needed to provide accurate quote.
