Bath being removed and replaced with a walk-in shower, so the wet area is expanding. Need full membrane to the floor and walls to the heights required under AS 3740, applied to bare substrate after strip-out. Must be licensed. The strata by-laws require a waterproofing compliance certificate to be provided to the owners corporation, so I need your NSW licence number and a certificate on completion. I’m looking for an experienced and qualified waterproofing contractor to inspect and rectify the waterproofing of an existing outdoor balcony. The balcony was constructed by a previous owner many years ago. It appears that the original construction did not include an adequate waterproofing membrane or proper drainage/guttering system. I would like to have the balcony properly waterproofed and the drainage issues addressed to prevent water penetration and potential damage to the structure below.

Water proof laundry with certificate as well as floor tiling, tile skirt to 1 side of room & caulking. Total lay area is 8.5m2 (600 x 600 tiles, room is 4.25m x 1.7m with 300mm high tile skirt needed on 4.25m length). Floor is currently 19mm structural fibre cement sheet. No drain in floor. Aluminium angle required between existing floor boards and tile transition. Tiles are on site and job is ready to go.

I need the door seal between balcony and bedroom to be screed and waterproof

I have a standard shower, after a while water starts to seep out from the shower area and on to the bathroom. I think sealing issue of door or borders?

I require a qualified tradesperson to inspect and provide a written quote for repairs relating to a leaking shower. The scope of works includes: - Assessing and waterproofing the shower area to stop the leak. - Repairing water damage to the basement ceiling directly below the bathroom, caused by the shower leak. - Providing a detailed written quote outlining the required repairs and costs. The quote will need to be submitted to my strata manager for approval before any work can commence. Once approved, a suitable date can be arranged to complete the repairs.

Following recent complaint from neighbouring Unit about damp wall had Plumber investigate. Report indicates "Spray tested shower cubicle and found immediate water escaping through grout lines. • Used thermal imaging and confirmed water tracking from shower area, likely beneath tiles, contributing to water ingress into neighbouring property." Think shower walls and base need grouting and waterproofing then rebuild of shower including tiles and walls and probably new shower screen. We think physical inspection needed to provide accurate quote.
