Experienced Bathroom/Waterproofing Person Required – Leaking Ensuite Shower I’m looking for an experienced and reliable bathroom tradesperson to inspect and repair a leaking shower in the ensuite bathroom of the front bedroom. The shower has been leaking through the tiled area very slightly, and water has travelled through the wall into the adjoining area. (Very common) I’m looking to have the shower properly sealed and waterproofed at the tiled joints and affected areas to prevent the leak from continuing. The job involves: • Inspecting the shower tiles, grout lines, corners and joins to identify where water is getting through. • Checking the shower screen/base and all areas where water may be penetrating. • Removing any old, damaged or failed silicone where necessary. • Thoroughly cleaning and preparing the surfaces. • Applying high-quality bathroom-grade waterproof silicone/sealant to the appropriate joints, corners and penetrations. • Paying particular attention to the corners, floor-to-wall junctions and areas around the shower where water may be escaping. • Ensuring the shower is properly sealed and watertight when the work is completed. • Checking the completed work for any obvious areas where water could still penetrate. Important: Water has already leaked through the wall, so I’m looking for someone who has genuine experience dealing with leaking showers and bathroom waterproofing, rather than simply applying silicone over the existing surface. Small Bathroom Repair – Hands-On Tradesperson Wanted I’m looking for an experienced handyman that has multi trade experience to do the whole work himself. Small 1st floor bathroom, approximately 2.2 metres long by 2.2 metres wide. The bathroom previously had a shower and toilet, but the old waterproofing failed and water leaked downstairs. I’ve already removed the old tiles and damaged material and cleaned the area, ready for you to redo it. The work includes: • Making the floor solid, stable and level using a suitable method. • Properly waterproofing the area to prevent further leaks. • Preparing and tiling the floor. • Reinstalling the shower glass and toilet. • Organising any necessary plumbing. The waterproofing and tiling must be done properly. It’s a small, fiddly job, suitable for someone who's happy to take on smaller projects and carry out most of the work themselves. Ideally, you’ll have all the multi skills am yourself. My preference is a hands-on tradesperson rather than a builder who mainly organises subcontractors and adds a management fee. Re do Waterproofing in shower

I have an upstairs tiled balcony with a large aluminium sliding door. There is a visible gap and deterioration along the bottom of the door frame/threshold only, and I believe water is getting through this area and leaking into the ceiling downstairs. I’m looking for someone experienced in balcony waterproofing, sliding door thresholds and water ingress repairs to properly diagnose and repair the issue. There have been previous attempts to seal the bottom of the frame with silicone or similar material, which has now deteriorated and separated. This old material will likely need to be removed and the area properly cleaned back before repairing it. I do not want another layer of silicone applied over the existing problem. I’m looking for a proper long-term repair that addresses how water is getting underneath the bottom of the frame. I would strongly prefer the door and frame to remain in place if possible. The frame is solidly plastered into the wall internally and the external render finishes directly against it, so removing the whole frame would create considerable additional work. Job to include: * Inspect the bottom threshold/frame only and identify where water is entering * Remove failed silicone/sealant and previous repair material as required * Inspect the junction between the frame, balcony tiles and waterproofing * Repair/reinstate suitable waterproofing, flashing, membrane or sealing as required * Neatly finish the area and water test if practical There are no known issues with the top or sides of the door. Water proof laundry with certificate as well as floor tiling, tile skirt to 1 side of room & caulking. Total lay area is 8.5m2 (600 x 600 tiles, room is 4.25m x 1.7m with 300mm high tile skirt needed on 4.25m length). Floor is currently 19mm structural fibre cement sheet. No drain in floor. Aluminium angle required between existing floor boards and tile transition. Tiles are on site and job is ready to go.

I need the door seal between balcony and bedroom to be screed and waterproof

I am installing a shower into my laundry. The job involves: 1. Remove all remaining tiles in laundry, mostly floor and skirting (see photos). 2. Construct a shelf in the shower out of existing bricks, and tile over these. 3. Possibly construct a hob and tile this. 4. Waterproof shower area. 5. Tile the shower area. 6. Tile the floor. 7. Tile some walls up to 1m high. 8. Tile a splashback along one wall. Approx tiling surface area = 15m2. Approx waterproofing area = 4m2. Tiles will be supplied by me.
