Hello! The floor level of my apartment is below my ground level balcony outside. Over the years, there has been water ingress, likely due to: water saturating the grout under the tiles, wicking sideways and overwhelming the old membrane, and entering the apartment. I have removed the tiles closest to the threshold and attempted to waterproof to no avail. I'm planning to properly waterproof the area, then reinstall tiles with epoxy grout or concrete. I would like someone to come and: 1. Prepare the slab (clean etc) 2. Waterproof, using primer, fillet + bond breaker tape, waterproofing membrane etc 3. Install the epoxy grout/concrete and tiles (if possible) I would like someone with a bit of experience in this field. Happy to provide materials or reimburse along the way. Also happy to hear any other ideas or feedback. Area is about 14m in length, 180mm wide. I’m seeking a licensed and insured waterproofer (Melbourne) to inspect existing bathroom waterproofing. 2 coats of waterproofing has already been applied and appears to be in good condition, however no compliance certificate was provided by the original contractor. If the waterproofing is generally sound, I’m looking for someone who would also be open to remediating the work if required (e.g. final coat / minor detailing) and then issuing a waterproofing compliance certificate. Shower is leaking. Tiles (travertine) on floor of shower are cracked and broken. Tiles need to be lifted and area needs waterproofing and re-tiling with same or similar tiles and re-grouted. A few tiles outside of shower are broken as well and need replacing on the bathroom floor. Also some broken tiles in kitchen need replacing and second shower needs floor re- grouted. I am a plumber and I need a waterproofer for one of my jobs in Springwood will need you to come quote • Waterproofing work in the downstairs bathroom and upstairs bathroom—there’s evidence of failure and water staining beneath both. • Laundry installation—we’re keen to get this sorted as part of the wet area works. • Drainage and subfloor moisture—there’s pooling and staining under the house, especially near the bathroom.
