The chainsaws haven’t been used in over a year. I have replaced the oil and the gasoline as well as clean the spark plug. But the chainsaws will not start. The chainsaws are a 20 inch Poulon Pro Max, gas powered and a Sears 18 inch gas powered. The Poulon pro Max has the chain brake removed. The chain brake was causing the saw not operate.

I live in a townhouse community of 240 homes and many of us need help shoveling and with out cars when a heavy snow comes. I've been delegated to find someone for a dozen or more of us, maybe more and only during the next heavy snow.

Relatively new Echo electric chain saw. Started shutting off during use, sporadically, temporarily. No consistent cause. Nothing I could do to get consistent use. Degree of battery charge irrelevant.
