Experienced Landscape Installer / Designer - Modern Tropical Backyard (Mar Vista) We're looking to refresh our backyard garden and are after someone with genuine landscape design and installation experience - not general garden maintenance. The goal is a modern, high-end California / resort-style garden that is lush, layered and architectural while remaining relatively low maintenance. The project will likely include: - Removing selected existing plants - Reworking planting beds - Supplying and/or installing new plants - Checking and modifying irrigation where required - Improving the overall design and balance of the garden The yard already has mature Birds of Paradise, hedging and established trees, so this is more of a thoughtful redesign than starting from scratch. Break up a few old tree stumps, remove some large bushes, small rocks, prep soil, lay weed barrier, lay topsoil/mulch. Move a rock pile (small to medium rocks) to prep for a garden bed. Roughly 75x3ft of space + 10x10ft. Note that there is a stretch of edging not shown in the photos to the left and a the rock area is to the right. The purpose of this pond project is to add more flower beds to each side of the biofalls and pond like the photo attached. Ponds are generally built with rocks or boulders and flagstones. We have sufficient flagstones on the driveway. Use those . Pls review the photos so you understand the project. We are not extending the pond liner or the pond. hey guys, so I need 2‘ x 2‘ pavers laid down in my back yard approximately 20 of them. I’m willing to pay $7.50 each. They’re going over three-quarter inch bedrock which there’s plenty of it back there with shovels and all the accommodations all I need is muscle they’re going to be 7 inches apart. It’s just one straight path for walking If you can send me references or if I can see pictures of prior work would be nice.If its done right I have much more work on the other side of the house.
