My home was struck by lightning. The EMP burst knocked out all the electric motors in both the headrest and the foot rest on all 6 recliners of my Hartley sectional purchased from Value City in Columbus. This may be as simple as a new power cord as with my laptop. The cord was also fried but the laptop was fine. I smelled no smoke or burning just heard a loud pop. Perhaps this is a quick fix? One would need to remove the bits of screw stuck inside and glue the split half back together, so that the bed can be assembled again.
